Ross comments as talks on Moray autism service continue
MORAY MP Douglas Ross has commented on his disappointments disappointed that no agreement was reached at today’s meeting between Scottish Autism and Moray Council to ensure that autism services in Moray continue.
Douglas said: “After the talks that the two parties held on Monday, it was unfortunate that no deal was agreed at this meeting, but I am encouraged that Scottish Autism and Moray Council have agreed to continue talks and will meet again next Friday (April 6).
“However, this further delay in reaching a decision on the future of the service that supports people in Moray with autism adds to the concern and anxiety this is causing to the families of the service users.
“It is of paramount importance that a positive decision is reached at next Friday’s meeting and I urge those involved to put the needs of the people who depend on Moray’s autism service at the heart of their decision making.”
