Moray Conservatives welcome deputy leader to Elgin
The deputy leader of the Scottish Conservatives, Jackson Carlaw MSP, will be rallying local Conservatives on Friday 2nd November when he will be visiting Elgin. Mr Carlaw will be speaking to members and supporters at a supper being held at The Eight Acres Hotel.
Local chairman Neil McLeod said, "We are delighted that Jackson is visiting us. With Ruth Davidson taking time off for maternity leave, Jackson will be leading for the Conservative opposition at the Scottish Parliament. It will be fascinating to hear his take on the current political situation as the Scottish Conservatives build up our challenge to Nicola Sturgeon's flagging SNP administration."
Mr McLeod added, "Jackson has a very well-deserved reputation as an entertaining speaker and Conservative supporters across Moray are warmly invited to come along for what I am sure will be a very enjoyable evening."
