With the daily news heavy on COVID-19 local councillor Tim Eagle (Buckie Ward) is keen to show that Moray Libraries are not as shut as they might seem.
Commenting is Cllr Tim Eagle who said - “Whilst our physical libraries may currently be shut there is still away to access books through the libraries relationship with RB Digital. RB Digital provides a wide range of both audiobooks and ebooks which Moray Council users can access for free. Up to 10 items can be downloaded onto a range of common devices. You can sign up using your library ID.
Even for kids there is plenty of choice available with all of the Harry Potters amongst other top titles available as audio books so children can listen in. There really is quite a range of books on offer to download as both ebooks and audiobooks.
Signing up is easy and instructions can be found online by going to the Moray Councils libraries – eaudiobook & ebook service page.
Books can be a great way to relax and take your mind off things and with concerns ongoing about mental health during this time of isolation I really encourage people to sign up and make use of this great service.
